Position Summary

Redtree Engineering is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support engineering and design activities for industrial facility projects. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of 3D design and BIM coordination experience, with a strong background in mechanical systems layout, equipment modeling, plant design coordination, and multidisciplinary model management.

This role will work closely with engineering and design teams to develop, integrate, coordinate, and maintain complex 3D models across multiple disciplines while ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements. Experience supporting power generation, energy, petrochemical, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial facilities is highly desirable.

You Will...

• Assemble, integrate, and maintain federated multidisciplinary 3D models from various platforms including Plant 3D, Revit, Civil 3D, and other project design tools.

• Manage model coordination efforts across mechanical, piping, structural, architectural, electrical, and civil disciplines.

• Set up, run, and manage clash detection processes using Navisworks Manage and related coordination platforms.

• Facilitate and participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings to identify and resolve clashes, design conflicts, and constructability issues.

• Support coordination of equipment layouts, piping systems, utility corridors, cable tray routing, conduit systems, and maintenance access requirements.

• Ensure project models comply with company and client BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), drafting standards, naming conventions, and shared coordinate systems.

• Assist project teams in extracting accurate 2D deliverables, equipment layouts, isometrics, and bills of materials from intelligent 3D models.

• Manage model transfers, project environments, and collaboration workflows within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and related platforms.

• Maintain and update drafting standards, title blocks, templates, plot configurations, and CAD standards.

• Support design reviews and quality control processes throughout project execution.

• Coordinate with engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure model accuracy and project deliverables are completed on schedule.

If You have...

• Have a minimum of 5 years of BIM, CAD, 3D modeling, or design coordination experience.

• Have experience supporting industrial facilities such as power generation, petrochemical, manufacturing, energy, process, or heavy industrial projects.

• Possess strong knowledge of multidisciplinary model coordination and BIM workflows.

• Have experience managing large-scale federated models and performing clash detection activities.

• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

• Can effectively work across multiple engineering disciplines and coordinate project stakeholders.

• Have experience maintaining drafting standards, CAD standards, and BIM execution requirements.

• Are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality engineering and design support.

• Can work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.

• Must be able to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

• Experience with Civil 3D and multidiscipline plant design environments.

• Experience supporting EPC, EPCM, industrial, utility, energy, or power generation projects.

• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), model management standards, and digital project delivery workflows.

• Experience coordinating equipment-heavy facilities and complex process plant environments.

• Experience working within fully remote or distributed project teams.
