This is a Remote Position for applicants based in the Philippines ONLY!

TransPerfect Connect (TPC) is looking for highly fluent Interpreters for Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian and Korean Language who want to use their bilingual skills to make a real difference. As an Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreter (VRI), you will help bridge language gaps across industries such as healthcare, legal, customer service, and financial services.

What You'll Do

• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation between English and Target Language (healthcare, legal, financial, customer support).

• Ensure neutrality, clarity, and cultural accuracy while preserving tone and intent.

• Handle live calls with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.

• Use note-taking, memory retention, and active listening to manage complex conversations.

• Participate in ongoing coaching and training to strengthen interpreting skills.
   

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma (required); college degree preferred.

• Fluency in English or any of language below:

  • Mandarin

  • Korean

  • Cantonese

  • Portuguese

  • Arabic

  • Russian

    • Must be B2+ proficiency or higher.

    • We are NOT accepting beginners/Intermediate proficiency.

• Ability to pass a language and interpreting skills assessment.

• Strong verbal communication, emotional control, and professionalism in fast-paced situations.

• Candidates have full Philippines working rights.

• With or without interpreter experience—fresh talent is welcome!

• Open to working the night shift

• Availability to work night shift hours from 10PM to 7AM is required.
   

Work From Home Requirements

• Quiet, distraction-free workspace.

• Desktop or laptop (Windows/Mac) with at least 16GB RAM, no older than 5 years.

• Stable wired internet: 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload minimum (no hotspot).

• Functioning webcam; Windows 10+ / macOS Big Sur (OS 11)+.
