Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) – Remote Project
RSB Automotive Consulting is looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) to join a project for one of our clients. We are looking for a specialist who has strong backend development experience and is comfortable working on scalable, modern software solutions.
Project details:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension
Work model: Fully remote
Business trips: Occasional trips to Germany
Developing and taking ownership of backend services using Java or Kotlin, from architecture design through deployment
Designing and implementing scalable microservices based on Spring Boot
Making technical decisions and contributing to backend architecture
Designing and implementing workflow and process automation solutions using Camunda BPMN
Modeling and optimizing relational database structures (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Several years of professional experience in backend development with Java or Kotlin
Strong practical knowledge of Spring Boot framework
Hands-on experience with Camunda BPMN and process automation
Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including query optimization
Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Good command of English (German is a plus)
