Autostep Fellow (Engineering Intern)

This is a spring/summer engineering internship at a company that cares deeply about the real next wave of AI.

You will not be doing what a regular SWE intern does. You will build real features, write real code, and ship real software that customers use. You will work directly with the founder and the engineering team on problems that matter. If you are great, this converts to a full-time role. This will be one of the most fun, yet challenging times of your life.

What you will do

Build and ship features across the Autostep platform using Python, Node.js, and Next.js. Work with real data at a scale you have not worked with before. Contribute to backend services, frontend interfaces, and internal tooling. Participate in customer feedback loops and see your work used in production. Learn how an early-stage company operates from the inside: fundraising, sales, product decisions, hiring.

What we are looking for

You are hungry. You build things on your own time because you cannot help it. You are comfortable in Python or JavaScript and eager to go deeper. You think clearly, communicate directly, and do not need to be told what to do twice. You want to be at a startup because you want to learn fast and do real work, not because you want a name on your resume.

What this role offers
