We are currently seeking a Audit AML Sr. Consultant to join our team in the United States (US).

 

 

 
 
Join a high-impact team supporting Global Financial Crimes Audit Quality Assurance and regulatory remediation efforts. This fully remote Audit AML Sr. Consultant role is ideal for professionals with experience in AML/BSA, Financial Crimes Risk Management, Audit, Compliance Testing, or Validation functions within the financial services industry. You will be responsible for evaluating audit quality, reviewing validation work, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping ensure adherence to regulatory and internal audit standards. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of AML/KYC processes, and experience working within financial services risk and compliance environments.

 

Key Responsibilities
-    Perform QA validation over the Bank’s Global Financial Crimes Audit department, in support of the Audit department’s Quality & Improvement (Q&I) function
-    Complete AML Audit quality reviews to evaluate the consistency, effectiveness, and adherence of Audit activities to standards defined by the Bank to determine whether Consent Order remediation milestone closure decisions are adequately supported
-    Serve as the final reviewer over AML Audit quality reviews prepared by the offshore delivery team and the escalation point for high complexity cases
-    Evaluate the completeness, accuracy, quality, sufficiency, and appropriateness of Audit’s validation work in alignment with Q&I expectations
-    Identify, assess, and document recommendations for improvements to Audit’s validation approach and overall documentation clarity, surfaced through review execution

 

Required Skills:  

  • Core financial services experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements and lifecycle – particularly knowledge around Beneficial Ownership documentation 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field 
  • 3+ years of experience of Financial Services Industry in a project management or business analyst function 
  • 2+ year(s) of experience on projects that focused on one or more of the following projects: 
    • AML/BSA 
    • KYC /Onboarding 
    • Large-Scale Remediation or Operational Engagements 
  • 2+ years of Risk Management, specifically Financial Crimes/AML or /BSA Program experience

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $93,816-$162,875. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position in the USA. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.  This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
