Position Title:AU Tax Senior Accountant
Work Set-up: Permanent Work From Home
Schedule: Mon- Fri , 7am – 3:30pm PHT (VIC Holiday)
Salary: Php 100,000 – 130,000

The business. is a rapidly growing accounting practice, which has a large amount of business clients in a variety of different industries. We also have a large number of self-managed super funds (currently around 80) that we look after. Our individual clients (not associated with a business client) vary from salary and wage earners to sole trader businesses, and as well investment property owners.

It has a unique position as not only are we an accounting practice, but we also has a financial planning business (with our own AFSL licence), and a mortgage broking business. This unique position allows us to cater to our clients in more ways than one, and allows us the ability to leverage off each business sector to increase our revenue.

The accounting business has 6 current staff members, but most of these are just on a casual basis working 1-2 days each. The position that we are offering will be full-time, and will allow for growth as the business grows.


JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN AU SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant would be:
• Prepare BAS / IAS returns
• Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients
• Prepare and lodge Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships
• Review client accounting records in MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero,, etc. to provide accurate and timely management reports
• Providing assistance in relation to a range of taxation matters including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST
• Providing assistance with administrative roles (e.g. ASIC corporate register

Qualifications as a Senior Accountant would be:
• 4 yrs + experience in Australian Taxation
• Experience with managing multiple clients
• Highly organized
• Detail oriented
• Being able to deal time manage with the various deadlines that we face each year
• Software: LodgeiT, Xero, MYOB, QBO, MS Sharepoint
