Position Overview
RecruitGo is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily bookkeeping and accounting operations. The role involves managing transactions in Xero, processing invoices through Dext (Receipt Bank), handling payroll and compliance tasks, and preparing regular financial and management reports.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and has solid experience in cloud-based accounting systems.
Responsibilities
Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks in Xero
Process client invoices through Dext (Receipt Bank) and import them into Xero
Prepare aged payables, batch payments, and bank ABA files
Manage unreconciled bank transactions and general ledger entries
Raise client sales invoices as instructed
Process wages, maintain employee records, and handle employer superannuation obligations
Submit payroll data to the ATO under Single Touch Payroll requirements
Handle debtor management, including reminders and statements
Prepare manual journals, financial reports, and management reports from Xero
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and provide month-end journals
Prepare and process IAS and BAS reports
Work with integrated third-party apps and assist with additional data entry tasks as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and relevant fields
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
At least 2-3 years experience in AU Bookkeeping.
Proficient in Xero, Dext (Receipt Bank), and Deputy
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, journal entries, general ledger, and financial statement preparation
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills

Salary Range: Php 40,000 - 50,000
Work Set up: Remote | WFH
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM South Australian Time with a 1-hour break
