AI Summary

You will research disease areas and develop high-quality scientific content including global value dossiers, HTA submissions, and payer value propositions. Additionally, you will manage project timelines, perform data checks, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

About the role

We’re looking for an Associate Writer/Analyst - Market Access who can help develop extraordinary written communications for our pharma clients, from value propositions and global value documents to HTA submissions and local market access deliverables. Things you might be working on day-to-day include:

  • Global value dossiers

  • Payer value propositions and objection handlers

  • HTA submissions (NICE, SMC, NCPE, AMCP dossiers, plus JCA)

  • Evidence and access strategy planning workshops

  • Scientific advice projects (e.g. NICE, JSC, joint advice, parallel advice)

Where we excel is in blending brilliant writing with our knowledge of market access. If this sounds like something you’d like to do, then this role could be for you. We’re essentially looking for someone who’s comfortable learning how to write highly scientific content that tells a great story and who has good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

You’ll typically spend your time researching different disease areas and developing brilliant content in Word and PPT. Key responsibilities include:

  • Consistent development of clear, accurate (data and referencing), grammatically correct, technical and creative medical/scientific text for a variety of audiences that requires some revision for accuracy and alignment with redthread/client house style

  • Perform data checks, reference mark up, and editorial proofing for your peers

  • Quickly become the therapy area and data expert for your projects, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the data and ability to talk to clients about it

  • Professional, clear and concise communication with colleagues to ensure everyone has a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, deadlines, responsibilities and expectations

  • Attend all client calls and develop clear/concise minutes, and be prepared to contribute to client calls around data queries

  • Be proactive in tracking projects by updating CMAP (resource planning and timesheets) and providing clear, regular information to the Project Manager and/or Project Lead

  • Work on multiple projects concurrently, learning how to manage your time appropriately to meet internal and external deadlines

Experience

You don’t need any prior experience for this role though we’d prefer you to have a background in life-sciences. However, attitude and aptitude are more important to us than experience and qualifications.

You’ll be involved in a range of activities across the business, including researching different disease areas, developing brilliant content and getting stuck in to projects from Day 1.

You’ll receive lots of hands-on mentoring, and will have the opportunity to take relevant training courses. There’s also plenty of room for progression and promotion, if you’re proactive, work well in a team, and are keen to learn.

Location, working hours and pattern

We are a fully-remote UK company without an office so you will be based at home. We appreciate however that while working from home has its perks, it can also be lonely, which is why we offer lots of opportunities to connect with the rest of the team, as well as the potential to work from co-working spaces local to you. Whether or not you’re wearing your pyjama bottoms on a Teams call is entirely your business.

This roles is full time. We measure commitment by how committed you are, not by the hours you work and as such we don't set working hours - when you work can be flexible, to suit your lifestyle and situation (within reason).

Salary & benefits

£30-33k, depending on your experience (e.g. PhD). Our benefits include 25 days’ holiday (increasing each year) plus your birthday and the Christmas period off, discretionary profit share bonus, flexible working hours, funding for external training, Vitality private medical insurance, and industry-leading family friendly policies, including 8 weeks at full pay for the birth or adoption of a child, irrespective of gender (yours, not the baby’s!).

Before you apply

Please note all applicants must be UK-based and have the right to work in the UK. 100% of enquires and applications will receive a response.

We are not currently accepting applications via Recruiters except Pobl.
