The Role
We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager to help build and scale a new client-facing software platform in the energy management space. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience who enjoys solving complex problems and working across teams to deliver meaningful product outcomes.
You’ll sit at the center of product, software engineering, and stakeholders—translating needs into action, keeping teams aligned, and helping us build products that genuinely work for the people who use them.
Key Responsibilities
Build & Ship Product
Support product requirements, user stories, and feature development
Organize and maintain documentation of product scopes, feature plans, timelines, and roadmaps
Translate user and business needs into clear, actionable specs
Act as a trusted resource for product knowledge across teams
Help teams balance user experience, business priorities, and technical constraints
Testing & Quality
Own feature testing and validation ahead of releases, coordinating internal resources as testers where needed
Identify and track bugs, edge cases, workflow issues, friction points, unmet needs, and opportunities for improvement
Ensure features align with real-world user behavior and expectations
Insights & Product Impact
Organize feedback about user needs, motivations, and pain points
Build relationships with stakeholders to understand goals, constraints, and success criteria
Gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into concrete product improvements
Use SQL and data analysis to validate insights and understand product performance
Distill complex data into simple, decision-ready takeaways
Product Ops & Execution
Partner closely with software engineering and stakeholders to ensure product work reflects real user and business needs
Keep roadmaps, specs, and timelines clear, accessible, and aligned across teams
Proactively surface risks, ask questions, and help teams navigate tradeoffs
Ensure decisions and changes are communicated with context—not just updates
Support smooth, predictable releases through early and consistent alignment
Communication & Coordination
Build trust-based relationships across teams to keep work moving and aligned
Facilitate cross-functional conversations and written updates that clarify goals, uncover concerns, and drive shared understanding
Communicate progress, challenges, and decisions with transparency and context
Help maintain a structured, transparent product development process
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
Experience
2–4 years in product, product ops, analytics, or a related role
Experience working cross-functionally with software engineering and business teams
Core Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust quickly
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
Curious, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
Analytical & Technical
SQL proficiency required
Strong Excel/data analysis skills
Ability to break down business processes and identify improvement opportunities

Tools & Technologies
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
SQL (MySQL required; Supabase a plus)
Salesforce and API familiarity a plus
Experience using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000
