About the Role & Team
IDC is growing its highly successful events business across the North American market, and we're looking for a strategic, data-driven Audience Development Head to lead the charge. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in B2B audience growth, list building, and event marketing — especially within the IT executive landscape.
You'll be responsible for building and growing a qualified, opt-in audience database of IT decision-makers across the U.S. and Canada. Your work will directly support in-person and virtual custom events for clients, larger in-person regional CIO Summits in key cities, and national virtual event webinars and programs. If you're passionate about data, digital engagement, building community, and driving real business results through targeted outreach — this is your role.

Compensation Transparency
At IDC, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Employees are compensated equitably for their work, aligned with their skills and experience. Salary and incentive structures are determined through a rigorous process that considers experience, education, certifications, role-specific requirements, internal equity, and verified U.S. market data from an independent third-party partner.The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $105,000 – $121,000, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
