AI Summary

The analyst will investigate and resolve incidents related to Oracle Fusion Cloud while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. They will also contribute to implementation projects and maintain system security roles and documentation.

Would you like to join an Oracle project at a particularly exciting stage — contributing to its implementation and evolution, and then becoming a key member of the team supporting the platform long term?

We are looking for an Applications Support Analyst to join an established international industrial company currently undergoing an important transformation of its enterprise applications landscape.

You will join the organisation during the implementation of a new version of Oracle, contributing your functional expertise, supporting the project and helping connect business needs with technology.

Once the implementation phase is completed, you will remain part of the Enterprise Applications team, ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle Fusion Cloud, supporting internal users and contributing to the continuous improvement and evolution of the platform.

This is a permanent, home-based position from anywhere in Spain or Portugal, working in an international environment with colleagues, users and partners across different countries.

Your role

Your mission will be to ensure that enterprise applications operate smoothly and reliably, providing high-quality support to internal users and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams and external support partners.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating, analysing and resolving incidents and requests related to enterprise applications, applying strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

  • Providing functional support across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external support partners to ensure incidents and problems are addressed promptly.

  • Managing escalations and following issues through to resolution.

  • Working in line with established SLAs, while understanding business priorities and urgency.

  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve system performance, stability and user experience.

  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate business requirements into effective solutions.

  • Contributing to Oracle implementation and enhancement projects, providing functional support and expertise when required.

  • Maintaining and administering Oracle Fusion security roles and Data Access Sets, ensuring appropriate user access and compliance with business requirements.

  • Creating and maintaining support documentation to enable effective service delivery and knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who combines solid Oracle experience with strong analytical skills and a genuine customer and user-service mindset.

You should bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst, Implementation Consultant or in a similar role involving direct interaction with end users.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud; alternatively, at least 1 year of Oracle Fusion Cloud experience combined with previous hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

  • Experience working across multiple Oracle modules, whether in implementation, consulting or application support.

  • Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish, as you will interact regularly with international users and teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at different levels of the organisation.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business requirements.

  • A high level of autonomy, ownership and personal accountability.

  • A results-driven mindset and commitment to delivering a high-quality service.

Nice to have

Knowledge or experience with BI Publisher, SQL or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) would be an advantage, although it is not essential.

Experience with any of the following Oracle Fusion modules would also be particularly valuable:

Procurement (PO) · Order Management (OM) · Manufacturing

The kind of person who will thrive in this role

We are looking for more than someone who simply manages tickets.

You are likely to enjoy this role if you are naturally curious about why something isn't working and how to solve it. You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership of issues and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to find the right solution.

You are analytical, flexible and proactive, with a positive approach to problem-solving and a strong focus on the internal customer experience.

Above all, you are someone who wants to improve how things are done rather than simply maintain the status quo.

What you can expect

This is a particularly interesting opportunity if you are looking for a role that combines project involvement with long-term ownership.

You will join at a key moment in the evolution of the company's enterprise applications, giving you the opportunity to participate in a significant Oracle implementation and gain a deep understanding of both the technology and the business.

And your journey won't end when the implementation goes live.

You will continue as part of the Enterprise Applications team, supporting users, solving business-critical issues and helping the organisation continuously improve and evolve its Oracle environment.

🏠 Home-based position from anywhere in Spain or Portugal
🌍 International working environment
💻 Strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud
🚀 Involvement in implementation, followed by long-term support and evolution
🤝 Direct interaction with business stakeholders, IT teams and specialist partners
📈 Permanent role within the Enterprise Applications team

If you have experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and enjoy combining technology, problem-solving and interaction with users, we'd love to hear from you!
