We are seeking a Playwright QA Automation Engineer to drive quality assurance initiatives through test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, strong programming skills, and expertise in building scalable automation frameworks. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
- Validate APIs and backend integrations.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript (preferred) or Java.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
- Experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
