About the role
Agility's Performance Creative team builds the creative that powers our clients' brand advertising campaigns. We're looking for an experienced cinematographer or director of photography to bring a real filmmaker's eye to AI video production: someone who understands how lenses, movement, lighting, and angles shape a shot, and who can apply that craft to produce high-quality, realistic-looking AI video ads at speed and scale.
This is a hybrid craft-and-technical role for someone who's spent time behind a camera and is energized by what generative tools now make possible. You'll translate creative direction into finished ad video using tools like Higgsfield, NanoBanana, Kling, Veo, and Sora, then bring it home with traditional post-production instincts. One day you're building a shot list and reference sheet for a new brand; the next, you're color-grading and mixing a 30-second spot. You'll work on real campaigns from day one, alongside our creative directors, strategists, and multimedia team.
What you'll do
- Plan and produce AI-generated video ads for multiple brands and industries, translating creative briefs, scripts, and shot lists into finished visual sequences using generative AI tools.
- Apply cinematography fundamentals — lens choice, camera movement, framing, angles, lighting, and pacing — to make AI-generated footage look intentional, realistic, and on-brand rather than generic.
- Craft precise, effective prompts and iterate on outputs to hit a specific creative vision, and build character reference sheets, style guides, and LoRAs to keep visual and tonal consistency across scenes and campaigns.
- Handle post-production end-to-end: rough assemblies, edits, color correction, sound design, voiceover, and final delivery, using AI-assisted workflows where they speed things up without sacrificing quality.
- Contribute to motion graphics and light audio recording/mixing as needed to round out a spot.
- Refine and optimize our AI video pipeline over time, building repeatable workflows that increase output while holding a high creative bar.
- Produce multiple variations built for testing and use performance signals to sharpen the next round.
- Collaborate with strategy and creative partners to translate client briefs into on-strategy, on-brand video, and hit deadlines within our SLA framework, adapting format and style for the channel (CTV, OLV, social, and more).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a cinematographer, director of photography, videographer, or in video production/post-production, with a strong eye for framing, movement, lighting, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- A reel or portfolio demonstrating real camera craft and the ability to carry a distinct visual style across projects.
- Experience with a broad range of AI creative tools, including Claude, Higgsfield, and other generative platforms.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI video, image, and audio tools, and a working understanding of how to prompt them to get a specific, intended result.
- Proficiency in standard editing suites such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to adapt style for different brands, tones, and campaign objectives, and to produce high volume without dropping quality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a tracked workflow.
- Self-starter who works independently, meets deadlines, and treats test results as direction rather than criticism.
