AI Creative & Strategist

Location: APAC / Remote
Engagement: Freelance / Project-based / Fixed-term contracts, depending on different client requirements
Level: Mid–Senior

We’re looking for an AI Creative Designer & Strategist who combines strong creative thinking with hands-on Generative AI capability. This is a creative-first role for someone who can move from brief to idea to polished output quickly, using AI as part of the creative process rather than simply as a production shortcut.

You’ll work across brand, campaigns, content, visual storytelling and emerging creative formats, helping turn marketing objectives into compelling creative concepts and then bringing those ideas to life using Google’s AI ecosystem. You should be equally comfortable shaping the creative direction, building the deck, generating the work and refining it until it is strong enough to show a client.

Portfolio Requirement: Please include examples of AI-generated creative work with your application. We are particularly interested in seeing: AI-generated images, AI-generated video, campaign concepts, creative prototypes, brand or social content, work created using Nano Banana, Veo or other Google AI and common GenAI creative production tools. Examples where AI materially changed or improved the creative approach.

About the Role

Creative Strategy & Concept Development

• Translate brand and marketing briefs into strong creative ideas, coverage and visual directions.
• Develop campaign concepts, storytelling approaches and creative recommendations that are strategically grounded and culturally relevant.
• Create clear, compelling decks that bring stakeholders on the creative journey.
• Understand the needs of marketers, brand teams and creative teams and turn those needs into practical creative solutions.
• Bring a strong point of view on visual quality, brand consistency, and what makes creative work effective.

AI-Native Creative Production

• Use Generative AI as an active part of the creative process across image, video, content and campaign development.
• Create high-quality AI-generated work using Google tools such as Nano Banana / Nano Banana Pro, Veo 3 / Veo 3.1 and Google AI Studio.
• Rapidly prototype creative ideas so teams and clients can see possibilities early rather than waiting for full production.
• Experiment with prompts, models and workflows to improve creative quality, speed and consistency.
• Refine AI-generated outputs with strong human judgement rather than accepting first-pass results.
• Stay close to emerging AI creative tools and understand where they can genuinely improve the work.

Creative Systems & Workflow Thinking

• Think beyond individual assets and understand how AI can improve the wider creative process.
• Build repeatable prompts, templates and workflows that help creative and marketing teams work more effectively.
• Explore how tools such as Google AI Studio, Antigravity and other AI-enabled environments can support creative prototyping and new ways of working.
• Identify repetitive creative processes that can be simplified or accelerated using AI.
• Help teams move more effectively from brief to concept, creation, iteration, to final output.

About You

• You have a strong background across creative design, art direction, brand, advertising, content, creative strategy or integrated marketing.
• You have a portfolio that demonstrates high-quality creative work, not just strategic thinking when creating work across platforms, but most importantly, social.
• You can show real examples of work created with Generative AI through AI-led art direction, across image, video, campaign concepts or branded content.
• You combine strong visual taste with strategic thinking and understand how creative decisions connect back to brand and marketing objectives.
• You have hands-on experience with Google’s AI creative ecosystem: Nano Banana, Veo and Google AI Studio
• Familiarity with other leading Generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Adobe Firefly, FLUX, Ideogram, Luma Dream Machine, Pika or equivalent is highly valued.
• You are confident developing presentations and selling creative ideas through clear storytelling.
• You understand what creatives, marketers, strategists and brand teams need from the tools and workflows around them.
• You can work independently while partnering with various stakeholders in a marketing organisation, move quickly and turn ambiguity into tangible creative outputs.
• You are naturally curious, experimental and comfortable learning new AI tools quickly.
