POSITION: Administrative Support Specialist

LOCATION: Remote

STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire - Remote     

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate Degree in Business Management or similar field of study.
  • Experience: Four (4) years of specialized experience in Government purchase card or simplified acquisition and managing and directing DoD projects and programs.
    ·       Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Work Schedule: Remote
  • Skills: Must have experience supporting acquisition programs & management environments in DoD & DON. Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity: Must be familiar with the DoD, DON and other federal regulations.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Provide support to Senior Business Specialist.
  • Provide support with Government purchase cards and simplified acquisitions.
  • Provide support with DoD projects and programs.
  • Provide support with e-business systems involved in GCPC payments, delegations, audits and administration.
  • Provide support with business process mapping and documenting internal controls.
  • Provide support with analyzing data to improve metrics.
  • Provide support with DoD, DON and other federal regulations and help apply requirements to the GCPC program.
