- Guide students through virtual simulations, demonstrations, or hands-on lab activities (as applicable)
- Teach laboratory safety protocols, including proper handling of biological materials and adherence to safety standards
- Design and implement laboratory assessments, including lab reports, practical exercises, and data analysis assignments

Requirements
- Master’s degree in microbiology, biology, or a closely related field required; individuals with a master’s degree in another discipline may be considered with evidence of at least 15 semester credits in microbiology or a related field
- Demonstrated laboratory experience in microbiology required
- Experience teaching laboratory courses at the college level preferred
- Clinical or healthcare laboratory experience preferred
- Experience with virtual lab platforms or simulation tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
