AdTech Security Analyst

Job Overview 

We are seeking experienced AdTech Security Analysts to support authorized testing of advertising technology systems, business logic, and related infrastructure. 

In this role, you will use your understanding of AdTech platforms, advertising workflows, and system controls to identify potential weaknesses that could affect campaign operations, account access, credentials, or platform security. You will design and perform challenging test scenarios within an approved scope to assess how systems respond to unusual conditions and potential misuse. 

An ideal candidate understands how digital advertising platforms and related systems operate and can analyse complex workflows to identify security risks, weaknesses, or gaps in system controls. 

Your work will help strengthen platform security, protect advertising operations, and reduce risks that could affect critical revenue-related processes. 

Project Details:

• Contract Type: Freelance, with the potential to convert to a full-time role.
• Pay Rate: US$12 per hour
• Location: Philippines

Responsibilities 

• Conduct authorized testing of AdTech systems, business logic, workflows, and related infrastructure.  
• Design and execute challenging test scenarios to identify weaknesses, gaps, or unexpected system behavior.  
• Review advertising workflows and system controls to identify potential security or misuse risks.  
• Assess potential weaknesses that could affect campaign operations, account access, credentials, or platform integrity.  
• Review business logic and system processes under different conditions to identify gaps or unintended outcomes.  
• Assess legacy systems or infrastructure within the defined project scope.  
• Analyse findings and determine the potential impact on advertising operations and platform security.  
• Identify recurring patterns, weaknesses, or areas that require further testing or review.  
• Document test scenarios, findings, supporting evidence, and potential impact clearly.  
• Follow defined security procedures, project requirements, and approved testing scope.  
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.  

Required Qualifications 

• Educational background or equivalent experience in AdTech, Digital Advertising, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.  
• Experience working with digital advertising platforms, AdTech systems, advertising operations, or related technology environments.  
• Strong understanding of advertising workflows, campaign operations, and AdTech platforms.  
• Ability to understand and analyse complex business logic, system processes, and platform workflows.  
• Experience in system testing, quality assurance, risk analysis, fraud prevention, security testing, or a related area.  
• Ability to identify potential weaknesses, gaps, inconsistencies, or unexpected system behavior.  
• Understanding of account security, access controls, authentication, or platform security concepts is preferred.  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Ability to assess potential business and operational impact of identified issues.  
• Strong documentation and communication skills.  
• Ability to work within defined project requirements and an approved testing scope.
