Our client is looking for a strong 2D Animator to join a slot game production team and take ownership of high-quality in-game animations.
This role is a great fit for someone with solid game animation experience - slot background is a plus, but not required. Candidates from match-3, casual, or hybrid-casual projects are very welcome.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Create and set up 2D character, object, environment, and UI animations in Spine.
- Animate in-game elements, effects, and interactive objects for mobile games.
- Create and fine-tune visual effects such as particles, loops, impacts, transitions, and feedback animations.
- Polish existing animations by improving timing, smoothness, readability, and overall game feel.
- Work closely with artists, game designers, and developers to integrate animations into the game.
- Support and improve the animation pipeline.
- Participate in animation reviews, share feedback, and iterate based on team input.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a 2D Animator in the game industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spine.
- Commercial experience in game projects such as match-3, casual, hybrid-casual, slots, or similar genres.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of traditional animation principles: timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.
- Experience animating game UI, interfaces, and interactive elements.
- Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate in at least one of the following languages: English, Russian, or Ukrainian.
