The Senior Security Engineer will audit and write secure Rust code while leveraging machine learning to automate security analysis and threat detection. They will also manage bug bounty programs and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices across the blockchain infrastructure.
You will act as the technical right hand to the Founder, translating vision into clear decisions and operational momentum. You will manage leadership rhythms, cross-functional problem solving, and ensure organizational alignment across the company.
You will design and implement core node infrastructure that powers the Polkadot network and its ecosystem. You will also collaborate with design and engineering teams to build reliable and resilient networking and syncing tools.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of features from problem discovery to production deployment within the Polkadot Research Engineering team. Utilize AI-augmented workflows to rapidly iterate on tools and experiences that accelerate platform adoption.
Lead and coach a team of approximately 9 engineers within the Runtime function to ensure team health and high-trust collaboration. Drive the planning, prioritization, and execution of complex technical workstreams while managing stakeholder expectations and delivery trade-offs.
