Palta (Simple / Zing / Lovi)

The role is responsible for owning and scaling paid user acquisition across core performance channels within the US market, leading hands-on execution across Meta Ads, Google Search, and YouTube. This involves managing large budgets, continuously testing strategies, and partnering with product and analytics teams to enhance downstream conversion and retention.

The Senior Backend Developer will design and implement backend features that support core product experiences and take work from ideation through deployment and production support. They will also improve performance, scalability, and reliability of existing backend services.

The Backend Tech Lead will take technical ownership of the backend platform, focusing on evolving the architecture (Python distributed monolith + services) to support large-scale growth and integrating AI capabilities like LLMs and bespoke ML systems. Responsibilities include writing production code weekly, designing for high load and resilience, and owning the system design through implementation and monitoring.
