National Emergency Management and Response

Assess disaster-related unmet needs and develop individualized service plans for survivors to facilitate recovery. Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate client documentation while acting as a liaison between stakeholders and service providers.

Conduct intake interviews, psychosocial assessments, and provide one-to-one counseling or crisis intervention for impacted communities. Maintain clinical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during emergency deployments.

Reservists are assigned roles within the Incident Command System structure, responsible for maintaining personal readiness to deploy within 6-12 hours of activation for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives. Duties include adhering to agency policies, completing required training, promoting safety culture, and supporting survivors and communities during critical circumstances.
