The engineer will lead the design and development of embedded computing systems, driving hardware/software development for real-time systems, and is responsible for tasks like designing portable battery systems and improving sample handling mechanisms. This role involves integrating components, ensuring battery operation, and leading end-to-end projects related to federal grants.

The primary responsibility is leading and managing engineering development projects from initiation to completion, which includes defining scope, developing plans, managing budgets, and mitigating risks. Secondarily, the role involves actively supporting business development activities, assisting with client relations, and participating in fundraising efforts.

The scientist will develop and implement research plans using proprietary diagnostic prototypes to investigate blood coagulation dynamics, requiring the design and execution of experimental studies from hypothesis generation to protocol development. Key duties also involve acquiring, analyzing, and visualizing research data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and significantly contributing to competitive grant applications.
