The Staff Software Engineer will design and implement the backend architecture to evolve the core platform used by bioengineers for designing, searching, and analyzing genetic constructs. This involves building GraphQL APIs and developing scalable services using Python and modern backend frameworks.

The engineer will own features end-to-end, designing, building, and shipping complex, data-intensive analytics dashboards used by enterprise customers daily. Responsibilities include developing frontend experiences with React/TypeScript, maintaining backend services via REST/GraphQL, and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.

You will act as the primary technical contact for customers facing implementation or data challenges, focusing on debugging customer implementations and ensuring data quality. The role involves investigating logs, analyzing data pipelines, and collaborating closely with engineering and data teams.
