We are seeking an experienced World Languages Content Manager / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support statewide World Languages education initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in World Languages instruction, curriculum development, standards, instructional materials, and educator professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review World Languages instructional materials and evaluation rubrics.
  • Support state standards and curriculum implementation.
  • Manage World Languages advisory panels and review panel applications.
  • Develop and deliver training, workshops, and presentations for educators and education leaders.
  • Create instructional guidance, professional learning materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate projects, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with state staff, educators, districts, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in World Languages, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of World Languages instruction, curriculum, assessment, and standards.
  • Experience developing educational/instructional resources.
  • Experience conducting training, presentations, or professional learning for educators.
  • Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and project management skills.

Preferred

  • Master's or advanced degree.
  • State, district, or large-scale education initiative experience.
  • Experience creating evaluation rubrics or reviewing instructional materials.
  • Experience working with advisory committees or educator workgroups.

Ideal candidate: A World Languages education expert who can combine content expertise, curriculum knowledge, educator training, stakeholder collaboration, and project management.
