Web Developer (Showit & WordPress) – Project-Based

This is a remote position.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer with expertise in Showit and WordPress to support a growing coaching and podcast business through website enhancements. This is a project-based engagement focused on implementing website updates, improving functionality, and ensuring an excellent user experience.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, communicates proactively, meets agreed deadlines, and is comfortable working independently while providing progress updates throughout the project.

Scope of Work:

Website Updates

• Update and improve existing Showit website pages
  
• Implement content and design revisions as requested
  
• Make layout and styling adjustments while maintaining brand consistency
  
• Ensure updates are responsive across desktop and mobile devices
  

WordPress Management

• Manage WordPress content connected to the Showit website
  
• Troubleshoot website issues and resolve functionality concerns
  
• Configure and update navigation, menus, and page links
  
• Ensure website components are functioning correctly after updates
  

Website Optimization

• Identify and resolve usability issues
  
• Improve website navigation and user experience
  
• Fix broken links or display issues
  
• Test website functionality after implementing changes
  

Collaboration

• Communicate project progress regularly
  
• Clarify requirements before beginning work when needed
  
• Meet agreed project milestones and deadlines
  
• Provide recommendations for improvements where appropriate
  

Qualifications, the ideal candidate should have:

• Proven experience building and maintaining Showit websites
  
• Strong WordPress experience
  
• Solid understanding of responsive web design
  
• Experience troubleshooting website issues
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Strong written English communication skills
  
• Ability to manage projects independently
  
• Reliable time management and deadline adherence
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with coaching, consulting, or personal brand websites
  
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
  
• Experience improving website user experience (UX)
  
• Familiarity with blog configuration and WordPress content management
  
• Ability to recommend technical improvements and best practices
  

Tools Required, candidates should have experience with:

• Notion (or similar project management tools)
  

Shifts & Hours:

• Project-based engagement; flexible working schedule
  
• No requirement to work within the client's time zone but must provide regular progress updates and meet agreed project deadlines
  

Target Start Date:

• Flexible; project is anticipated to begin in the coming months, with candidate shortlisting starting immediately.
