Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Video Annotation Specialists to support an AI training project focused on reviewing and annotating videos of robotic arms performing predefined tasks.

The role involves carefully reviewing video footage, identifying key actions and outcomes, and applying detailed grading and annotation guidelines consistently. You will work with structured annotation tools, document observations, resolve ambiguous cases, and contribute to ongoing quality reviews. No prior AI experience is required, although experience with AI training or robotics-related datasets is strongly preferred.

CONTRACT: Part-time/hourly contractor assignment

LOCATIONS: Remote, GLOBAL

HOURLY RATE: $50-$90/h

Responsibilities

• Review video footage of robotic arms performing assigned tasks.
• Identify relevant actions, events, and task outcomes within each video.
• Apply detailed grading guidelines to accurately tag and annotate video content.
• Use video annotation platforms to record structured observations.
• Follow project-specific labeling standards and annotation conventions.
• Resolve ambiguous cases in collaboration with trainers or other contributors.
• Document findings and submit completed annotations according to project standards.
• Participate in quality reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Communicate progress, issues, and annotation challenges clearly.
• Maintain consistent quality across repetitive and detail-heavy review tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with video annotation, data labeling, or similar visual-data review work.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing visual content.
• Ability to follow detailed annotation and grading guidelines consistently.
• Familiarity with video annotation tools or data-labeling platforms.
• Strong self-organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical approach to identifying and resolving annotation ambiguities.
