TheTravel is a rapidly growing online travel publication that is dedicated to inspiring people to explore the world. We are seeking a talented and passionate freelance Image Specialist to join our team and help us share unique and captivating images about travel destinations, culture, and experiences.

If you're a driven visual creator who stays on top of travel trends, you'll fit right in. We'd especially love to hear from graphic designers, photo editors, and visual storytellers with firsthand experience crafting original illustrations, enhancing photos with an eye for composition and lighting, and building style guides that keep brand standards consistent across every image.

Your Responsibilities

• Design original graphics and illustrations for articles, features, and digital content, tailored to the travel industry.
• Edit and enhance photos using advanced techniques to improve composition, lighting, and visual appeal.
• Select images to accompany articles published on TheTravel.
• Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize and execute visual storytelling that complements written content.
• Create and maintain style guides and templates to ensure consistent brand standards across the team.

Experience and Skills

• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio in visual content creation for online platforms.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong grasp of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in digital media.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for travel and an understanding of industry-specific visual communication needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred.
