The Technical Engineer will lead the development of safe working practices and EV readiness across the Scania UK network. They will act as the primary technical contact for electrical safety, ensuring compliance and supporting the wider technical team with quality and diagnostic queries.

As Technical Engineer – OD (Operational Designated), you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of high-voltage (VCB) systems across Scania UK, with a key focus on supporting our transition to a fully EV-ready organisation.
Working closely with Health & Safety, Network Development, Transformation and the Scania Learning Academy, you’ll drive the development of safe working practices, technical competence and EV capability across our network.
You’ll also provide technical expertise to the wider Technical Team, supporting technical queries, quality issues and sharing knowledge across the business.
