Responsibilities
Assist with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) clinic preparation, maintenance, and daily operations.
Provide front desk coverage, including answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, responding to the clinic doorbell, and greeting and checking in clients and visitors in accordance with UAMS and department policies.
Take detailed messages from prospective and current SLP and Audiology clients and patients and relay information to the appropriate staff member.
Assist with client scheduling and other front desk administrative needs.
Record and maintain weekly client attendance in ClinicNote.
Provide front desk coverage during staff lunches, breaks, absences, and other times as needed to ensure continuous clinic support and customer service.
Assist with cleaning, organization, and general upkeep of clinic areas.
Conduct daily inventory checks of assessments, treatment materials, iPads, and other clinic resources, ensuring items are accounted for and secured appropriately.
Receive, check in, organize, and store incoming supplies and materials.
Monitor and restock office supplies, clinic materials, and other essential items to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Make copies and prepare documentation and materials for front desk and administrative operations.
Complete laminating and other projects as requested to support clinic and departmental needs.
Provide support to designated department staff as assigned to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of tasks, and continuity of clinic and departmental operations.
