About the Job

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain Java-based services and data processing components.
  
• Build scalable solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and system integration.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
  
• Support system design, implementation, testing, and production operations.
  
• Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend and data services.
  
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues across application and data layers.
  
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
  
• Strong Java development skills.
  
• Experience working with data-oriented systems, ETL processes, or backend data services.
  
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed application design.
  
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative Agile teams.
  
• Ability to ramp into existing systems and contribute quickly.
  
• Strong delivery focus across application and data engineering work.
  
• Comfortable working in cross-functional engineering environments.
  
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, or large-scale data platform tools.
  

 
Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and data pipeline operations.
  
• Experience supporting high-volume enterprise systems.
