Role Overview - ServiceNow Business Analyst
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, analyze business processes, and help design and implement ServiceNow solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Work closely with ServiceNow developers and architects to ensure requirements are correctly implemented
- Configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc. (as applicable)
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), including test case preparation and defect tracking
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, workflows, and system configurations
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, in ServiceNow projects
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and modules
- Experience in requirement gathering, BRD/FRD creation, and process mapping
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA – Certified System Administrator, CAD, CIS)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow workflows, forms, and basic configurations
- Javascript experience will be an advantage
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
