We are seeking a Senior SAP Payroll Consultantwith strong expertise in German payroll and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Payroll. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of German payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and payroll process design, along with the ability to guide clients through complex payroll implementations and optimization initiatives.
This role requires a consultant capable of leading payroll discussions, designing end-to-end payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with German legal requirements, while working closely with business stakeholders.
Analyze existing payroll processes and identify optimization opportunities.
Design and implement end-to-end payroll processesintegrated with time management and personnel data management.
Provide expert guidance on German payroll regulations and compliance.
Design and implement payroll solutions using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
Configure payroll components including:
Wage types
Payroll schemas and rules
HR forms and payroll notifications
Perform system customization and configurationto support business requirements.
Support data migration and payroll system setup.
Manage test planning, execution, and validationduring implementation phases.
Ensure accurate payroll results through testing and validation procedures.
Support and oversee payroll processing and executionin SAP SuccessFactors.
Validate payroll results while ensuring compliance with German legal and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot complex payroll issues and provide effective resolutions.
Act as a senior advisor to clients, guiding them on payroll best practices and future-ready payroll solutions.
Support tender processes, solution proposals, and project delivery activities.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver payroll projects successfully.
4–7+ years of experience in SAP Payroll consulting.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
Deep understanding of German payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Experience in:
Payroll schemas and rules configuration
Wage type configuration
HR forms and payroll notifications
Data migration and payroll testing
Experience designing end-to-end payroll processesintegrated with time management and HR master data.
German – Fluent (Mandatory)
English – Professional Working Proficiency
Experience working in international payroll transformation or SAP SuccessFactors projects.
Ability to work independently as a senior consultant guiding stakeholders and clients.
Experience supporting RFPs, tenders, or pre-sales activities.
