Lead and manage Revit MEP models for large-scale HVAC piping and mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and constructability. Coordinate multidisciplinary models, resolve clashes, and oversee fabrication-ready workflows from design through installation.
What You Will Do
Lead and manage Revit MEP models with a primary focus on HVAC piping and HVAC-R systems for large-scale, complex projects.
Develop, maintain, and coordinate detailed Revit HVAC pipework models, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
Define and enforce BIM execution plans, modeling standards, and Level of Development (LOD) strategies.
Drive design-to-fabrication workflows, ensuring HVAC piping and mechanical system models are fully constructible and fabrication-ready.
Oversee HVAC piping, ductwork, and spool modularization strategies to support efficient fabrication and installation.
Integrate BIM models with CNC machines, robotic welding systems, and profile cutting technologies.
Support fabrication tracking systems, including QR/barcode labeling and production status monitoring.
Collaborate with fabrication and project teams to resolve clashes, tolerances, constructability concerns, and sequencing challenges, particularly for HVAC piping systems.
Manage coordination workflows using Revit, Navisworks, and point cloud data.
Lead clash detection processes and ensure timely issue resolution across multidisciplinary models.
Support full project lifecycle delivery, from concept design through fabrication, installation, QA/QC, and as-built documentation.
Mentor and guide MEP Draftspersons and BIM Technicians, particularly in Revit HVAC piping modeling best practices.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of HVAC and mechanical system projects.
