Senior / Lead Fullstack Engineer (Node.js, React.js/Vue.js)

We are looking for a Senior or Lead Fullstack Engineer to take full ownership of end-to-end product engineering across backend and frontend layers. You will work embedded in product teams serving European clients across e-commerce and B2B SaaS - collaborating directly with client engineers, product owners, and stakeholders. This is a hands-on role with real leadership scope: you will shape how we build, drive technical direction, and raise the engineering bar across the team.

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend services and RESTful / GraphQL APIs using Node.js.
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable frontend components using Vue.js, ensuring high responsiveness and seamless user experiences.
• Architect end-to-end technical solutions covering both server-side and client-side layers, with a clear focus on scalability and long-term maintainability.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data modeling, indexing, and query performance.
• Implement state management patterns (Vuex / Pinia) and apply frontend performance optimization strategies.
• Lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and grow the technical capability of junior and mid-level engineers on the team.
• Identify and address technical debt proactively - propose and drive architectural improvements across the codebase.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Implement caching, logging, monitoring, and security best practices including OWASP Top 10 compliance.

• 7+ years of experience in fullstack development, with strong hands-on depth in both Node.js (backend) and Vue.js or React (frontend).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming patterns.
• Professional English proficiency - you are comfortable leading technical discussions, writing documentation, and communicating directly with international clients in English.
• Solid understanding of database architecture, query optimization, and data modeling across relational and NoSQL systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills across the full stack.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions, drive architectural discussions, and elevate the engineers around you.
