We are hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing fintech company as we continue to expand our operations. In this role you will help us shape our cloud strategy, security, and scalability, ensuring our systems remain robust and reliable.

With your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our cloud environment across multiple providers. Your focus on security and compliance will be essential as we navigate the complex regulatory landscape of financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Adopt a Security First approach in everything you do; take ownership of Cloud Security
  • Build, maintain and assist with the Cloud deployments for the company (Azure; Digital Ocean)
  • Architect our Cloud and Network infrastructure, maintaining a good balance between current needs and future scaling requirements
  • Maintain and build developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines
  • Optimise our Cloud and Tooling spend, to ensure our funds are efficiently allocated and to maximise developer productivity
  • Support the engineering team with deploying and maintaining our live workloads
  • Collaborate with the IT and security team to manage requirements for the engineering team
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to Cloud create a smooth experience for all stakeholders
  • Build and maintain monitoring solution for our deployed services across the stack
  • Be an expert for everything Cloud, automation and DevOps best practices

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud provider (Azure Cloud Services)
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform)
  • Expertise in Github Workflows
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions (Sentry, Datadog)
  • Good understanding of containerisation technologies and serverless platforms (Docker, Azure Container Apps)
  • Good understanding of Linux
  • Excellent knowledge of security best practices, with a focus on Cloud and Networking
  • Proactive and flexible mindset- achieve objectives independently whilst adjusting priorities according to need
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Data Engineering (Airflow, Snowflake..) and database management
  • Experience working in regulated environments, particularly financial institutions
  • Experience in incident management and setting
  • Passion for DevEx and building efficient tooling for Developers. Experience with measuring and reporting DORA metrics is a plus

  • We don't have a fixed budget for the role. When we find the right person, we will pay them competitively vs their market rate.
  • Flexibility around working hours and location. The role can be worked remotely within South-east Asia or Serbia, with the option to work from one of our offices. We have offices in Hong Kong, Singapore & Belgrade where other senior engineers are based.
