Senior Embedded Engineer – Nordic nRF / Zephyr

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Engineer to support the migration of an existing IoT application from Nordic nRF52 to nRF54, including the transition from SoftDevice to nRF Connect SDK (Zephyr).

This is not a greenfield project – the main focus is migrating, integrating, and adapting an existing application to the new hardware platform.

Responsibilities

• Migrate embedded application from nRF52 to nRF54.

• Transition from SoftDevice to nRF Connect SDK / Zephyr.

• Integrate and adapt existing firmware to new hardware.

• Configure DeviceTree, Kconfig, west, and drivers.

• Support DFU, Secure Boot, and OTA functionality.

• Hardware-level debugging using JTAG/SWD and laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded systems experience across firmware and hardware.

• Strong hands-on experience with Nordic Semiconductor nRF products.

• Excellent knowledge of SoftDevice, nRF Connect SDK, nRF HAL, and DFU.

• Strong experience with Zephyr RTOS, including DeviceTree, Kconfig, west, and drivers.

• Strong C programming skills; experience with IAR.

• Previous experience with Secure Boot.

• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership end-to-end.

Nice to have: nRF54 experience, OTA updates, reverse engineering of existing embedded code, and Device-in-the-Loop testing.
