Senior DevOps Engineer - Jenkins / CI/CD / AWS

We are looking for an autonomous, highly experienced Developer Experience (DevEx) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind improving our developers' day-to-day lives by streamlining the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines. You will take full ownership of our build and deployment infrastructure, primarily focusing on Jenkins, to reduce friction, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure fast, reliable software delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an independent environment, possesses strong scripting capabilities, and makes data-driven decisions based on DORA metrics to continuously elevate engineering productivity.

Requirements

Required Tech:

• Extensive, hands-on experience architecting and maintaining Jenkins infrastructure.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
• Solid hands-on experience with Cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.
• Strong scripting skills for automation (Bash, Python).
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD best practices.
• Strong understanding of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, Time to Restore Service) and how to measure/improve them.
• Advanced knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Tech:

• Writing Jenkins pipelines in Groovy (Huge Plus).
• Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the CI/CD infrastructure, designing and maintaining robust, scalable deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and AWS.
• Manage and optimize containerized environments to ensure consistent and reliable builds across local and cloud environments.
• Write, refactor, and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash) and Jenkins shared libraries (Groovy) to streamline developer workflows.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on DORA metrics, identifying bottlenecks in the delivery process and implementing solutions to improve them.
• Act as the primary advocate for developer productivity, removing friction from the SDLC and enabling teams to ship code faster and safer.
• Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and cloud infrastructure issues independently.
