What will you be doing?
In this role you’ll be:
Responsible for the development of Data Science models, including those leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Designing and implementing processes and tools that address business needs, particularly using Python, R, and SQL.
Planning, preparing, monitoring, and documenting analyses.
Coordinating initiatives, including stakeholder management, planning, and overseeing task execution.
Actively participating in the development of models that support operational activities and management decision-making.
Performing testing of system and tool changes or updates in accordance with agreed test scenarios.
Maintaining relationships with Quantum UK, actively participating in stakeholder meetings, and presenting work results during meetings.
Coordinating and providing subject matter support to the team, including task planning and validation of analysis quality and accuracy.
Planning and prioritising the team's technical tasks.
Proposing new improvements and test scripts.
Developing and maintaining an understanding of Aviva’s organisation, processes, and IT services.
What we’re looking for?
Higher education degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science, data analytics, or machine learning.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining Data Science and Machine Learning models.
Ability to independently conduct analyses and effectively present findings to business stakeholders.
Experience working in project environments and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to plan and prioritize technical tasks effectively.
Good command of English, enabling collaboration in an international environment.
Experience with Generative AI, MLOps, and cloud-based environments would be considered an advantage.
