Ideal Profile

Experience & Industry Knowledge

  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or in a helpdesk role supporting multiple customers
  • Experience with sales administration processes and best practices
  • Exposure to procurement processes is advantageous, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients while adapting to different tools and processes

Systems & Software

  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage is highly regarded
  • Familiarity with CPQ or similar quoting platforms is advantageous
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technologies quickly

Communication & Soft Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively

Responsibilities

Business Sales – Client Contact

  • Respond to client enquiries regarding products and services being quoted
  • Assist prospective clients with general enquiries and escalate opportunities where appropriate
  • Gather and document customer requirements to support successful project delivery

Business Sales – Sales Board

  • Monitor and manage sales-related service tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Process requests from sales, account management, and renewals queues
  • Create and update sales opportunities and coordinate activities with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure service-related tickets are escalated promptly to the appropriate teams

Business Sales – Quoting

  • Prepare accurate quotes within agreed service levels using approved product catalogues
  • Ensure pricing aligns with business requirements and quality standards
  • Coordinate approvals for high-value quotes where required
  • Review opportunities for accuracy before progressing to sales orders
  • Maintain product information within sales systems to ensure consistency and accuracy

Business Sales – Quoting Tool Support

  • Support and guide team members in the effective use of quoting tools
  • Assist in maintaining documentation and resolving system issues with software vendors
  • Contribute to evaluating and improving quoting tools and processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the quoting function

Business Sales – Proposal Support

  • Assist with the preparation of professional proposals for larger projects
  • Coordinate information from internal stakeholders to produce accurate quotations
  • Support accepted proposals through to sales order completion

Business Sales – Contact Management

  • Maintain accurate customer and company contact information within internal systems

Business Sales – Documentation

  • Record customer information and project details accurately to support downstream teams
  • Maintain and update sales administration documentation and procedures

Business Sales – Training & General Support

  • Complete agreed training and professional development activities
  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers as required
  • Undertake additional duties that contribute to the success of the sales team and wider business
