Outsourcing Advantage is a boutique business process outsourcing provider specializing in back-office and customer support services for US-based companies. We are seeking an experienced Revit Modeler / Drafter to support architectural and construction projects through accurate and efficient BIM modeling and drafting.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, has strong drafting and BIM modeling skills, and is capable of producing accurate, detailed, and well-organized technical drawings. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret design and construction documents, and effective coordination with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will help maintain accurate project documentation, develop Revit models, incorporate design revisions, and ensure drawings are completed according to project requirements and established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain accurate Revit models based on architectural, structural, and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and construction drawings.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, markups, and reference drawings into accurate Revit models and documentation.
- Review and update existing Revit models based on project revisions and field information.
- Incorporate redlines, markups, and design changes accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate drawings and models with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines as required.
- Identify inconsistencies, conflicts, or missing information in drawings and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with construction documentation, permit drawings, and project deliverables.
- Maintain organized Revit files, sheets, views, families, and project documentation.
- Follow established BIM, drafting, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Participate in project coordination meetings when required.
- Support updates to existing facilities, layouts, spaces, and other built-environment documentation as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in Revit modeling and drafting.
- Proven experience as a Revit Modeler, Revit Drafter, BIM Modeler, Architectural Drafter, or similar position.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Solid understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
- Experience producing plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
- Ability to interpret architectural, engineering, and construction documents.
- Experience working with redlines, revisions, and project markups.
- Strong understanding of BIM modeling and documentation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work during overlapping U.S. business hours as required.
- Reliable high-speed internet, appropriate computer equipment, headset, quiet workspace, and backup power for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting U.S.-based clients.
- Experience with architectural, commercial, industrial, warehouse, or facility projects.
- Experience working with existing buildings and renovation or modification projects.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
- Experience with Revit family creation and customization.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination and clash detection.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of U.S. construction documentation and drafting standards.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, Construction, or a related field is a plus.
