Job Overview
Waga Energy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Remote Operations Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This position is available on either a Full-Time or Part-Time basis. As a pioneer in the renewable energy sector, Waga Energy is dedicated to upgrading landfill gas into grid-compliant Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) through our patented WAGABOX® technology. Our fully automated, 24/7 remotely supervised units are at the forefront of tackling climate change by transforming waste into a valuable clean energy resource. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our expanding portfolio of WAGABOX® units across North America, coordinating all maintenance and operational activities from a remote setting based in United States.
Responsibilities
* Develop, manage, and optimise the maintenance schedules for multiple WAGABOX® units to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
* Coordinate with field engineers, technicians, and third-party contractors for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair work.
* Act as a central point of contact for operational scheduling, responding to alerts and alarms from our remote computerized supervision systems.
* Liaise effectively with landfill site operators and energy utility partners to communicate planned operational activities and minimise disruption.
* Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all maintenance activities, operational events, and scheduling communications.
* Assist in the generation of performance reports and analysis of operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an operations scheduling, dispatch, or technical coordination role, preferably within the energy, manufacturing, or industrial engineering sectors.
* Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using scheduling software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* A self-motivated individual capable of working independently and taking initiative in a remote environment.
* A technical background or familiarity with remote monitoring systems (e.g., SCADA) would be a significant advantage.
* A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.

This is a fully remote position.
Salary
The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $160,000 USD per annum (pro-rata for part-time), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
