Reddit Community Manager

Remote (UAE or Pakistan) | Full-time | Core hours 10am–3pm PST, remainder async

About the Client

Our client is a Series A, Silicon Valley-based Gen AI startup with 200+ employees globally, building one of the fastest-growing AI creative platforms, used by millions to create images, videos, stories, ads, and other creative work with AI. They move fast, test constantly, and scale what works.

The Role

Our client is looking for someone to take their Reddit presence from 0 to 100. This isn't a moderation or scheduling role. You'll own Reddit end-to-end: building their subreddit into a real community, growing their presence across relevant AI and creator communities, and feeding what you learn back into product and marketing.

What You'll Do

• Build and grow their subreddit into an active, engaged community

• Run experiments across content, community programs, and organic acquisition, and double down on what works

• Show up authentically in relevant Reddit communities (AI, video, design, creator spaces), not as a brand account

• Create recurring formats that get people participating and coming back, AMAs, showcases, challenges, discussions

• Track sentiment, feature requests, and competitor chatter, and turn it into insight for product and marketing

• Build relationships with moderators, power users, and creators across the space

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building and growing a community, subreddit, or organic channel from scratch, demonstrated growth and ownership matter more than years of experience. Moderation-only experience isn't a fit

• Already active in the Gen AI space: you follow the major tools, models, and conversations, and ideally use these tools yourself. You don't need prior work experience at an AI company, but you shouldn't be starting from zero

• Deep, genuine understanding of Reddit's culture and unwritten rules, and what instantly reads as marketing

• Strong, natural writing, you sound like a person, not a corporate account

• Comfortable moving fast, testing ideas independently, and adjusting without waiting on direction
  

Bonus Points

• Experience with UGC, creator, or ambassador programs

• Comfortable creating simple graphics, memes, or short-form content

• Familiarity with Reddit and Google search visibility
