Quality Control Engineer (Remote)

As our QC Engineer, you'll be involved with testing efforts across every platform - mobile, web, and API.  

Responsibilities: 

• Review requirements, specifications and user stories to provide timely and meaningful feedback 
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans 
• Test cases: Estimate, priorities, plan and coordinate testing activities 
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools 
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs 
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved 
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs 
• Monitor debugging process results 
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts-stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies 
• Remotely collaborate with other team members to define, design, and ship new features requirements 

 Job Requirements 

• Collaborate across multiple disciplines within the team in driving the app to completion. 
• Strong knowledge of software QC methodologies, tools and processes 
• Testing Mobile Applications  
• Testing web services and APIs 
• Knowledge of white box and black box testing 
• Knowledge of automated testing tools for Mobile, Web & API 
• Knowledge of performance and security testing 
• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas of testing: automation, performance, security 
• Attention to detail 
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills 
• ISTQB certification 
• Passion for learning and process improvement 
• Experience in Agile methodology 
• Strong understanding of software development cycles 
• Knowledge of Azure & AppCenter Testing is a plus
