The QC Engineer will be involved in testing efforts across mobile, web, and API platforms. Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing automation scripts, and tracking quality assurance metrics.
As our QC Engineer, you'll be involved with testing efforts across every platform - mobile, web, and API.
Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications and user stories to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans
Test cases: Estimate, priorities, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Monitor debugging process results
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts-stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Remotely collaborate with other team members to define, design, and ship new features requirements
Job Requirements
Collaborate across multiple disciplines within the team in driving the app to completion.
Strong knowledge of software QC methodologies, tools and processes
Testing Mobile Applications
Testing web services and APIs
Knowledge of white box and black box testing
Knowledge of automated testing tools for Mobile, Web & API
Knowledge of performance and security testing
Proven experience in at least one of the following areas of testing: automation, performance, security
Attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
ISTQB certification
Passion for learning and process improvement
Experience in Agile methodology
Strong understanding of software development cycles
