What you'll be doing:
Maintaining and improving our animation code base, keeping cross-system functionality solid,
Prototyping and implementing animation systems for AI-controlled enemies,
Working closely with gameplay and AI programmers to keep logic and animation working smoothly together,
Staying up to date with animation tech and trends, and bringing new ideas to the team.
Feel free to apply if you have:
Solid knowledge of C++,
Solid knowledge of UE4 or UE5,
Experience with UE animation systems,
Comfortable debugging and profiling with UE tech (e.g. Rewind Debugger),
Experience in prototyping and implementing locomotion systems,
Knowledge of VS2022 and/or Rider,
Self-reliance when it comes to solving problems,
Good communication skills.
It would be also nice to have:
Experience with GAS (Gameplay Ability System),
Knowledge of Perforce (P4),
Experience working on a UE-based AA/AAA title in a similar role,
Experience optimizing code for consoles (PS5/XSX),
Experience with multithreading and animation fast path optimization.
