Overview
Coordinates grant funded telemedicine specialty services for Vermont patients and hospitals. Provides coordination and tracking of all program activities, assists with managing communications, go-live coordination, and messaging. Assists with data collection, consumption and structure.
This is a .5 FTE (20 hrs wkly) position that can be done remotely. This grant funded position will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
Responsibilities
Compiles/inputs data for all telemedicine service lines to assist with the consumption and structure.
Tracks and updates workflows, hub books & trainings guides for a large number of growing sites & service lines.
Manages, updates all site EMR access needs for providers.
Researches and implements use of new and existing data/ telecommunications technology to enhance time management, effective communication, and document management.
Trains site staff and internal staff on technology tools used, oversees implementation, updates and upgrades.
Assists with monitoring implementation activities, deliverables, and deadlines.
Develops and maintains satisfaction survey data and provides results to CCC leadership.
Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives for delivering services more effectively and efficiently.
Assists as being a point of contact and gatekeeper for Telemedicine sites across all DH & external sites.
Assists with coverage for the Telemedicine call center.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree with 3 years of operational experience or the equivalent experience required, preferably within a healthcare environment.
Must have excellent and assertive planning and organizational skills.
Must have demonstrated capabilities in developing a collaborative approach to program development, establishing policies and procedures, and ability to support project evaluation.
Independent thinker who is able to make decisions based on available information and data.
Proficiency in computer software, such as MS Office Suite including Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Smart Sheets, etc. required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiasm for the entrepreneurial aspects of building a new program within a clinical organization is critical.
