Procurement Administrator

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Procurement Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will run the purchasing process for a UK business, from requisition to receipt.

Role overview

You'll raise purchase orders, chase suppliers, keep pricing and supplier records accurate, and make sure what was ordered is what actually arrives — and at the price that was agreed.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and issue purchase orders against approved requisitions
• Chase suppliers on order confirmations and delivery dates
• Match invoices to orders and resolve pricing discrepancies
• Maintain supplier records, pricing lists and contract dates
• Report on spend, savings and open order status

What you'll need

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or buying administration
• Experience with an ERP or purchasing system such as SAP, NetSuite or Sage
• Confident with spreadsheets for spend analysis
• Comfortable negotiating dates and pricing with suppliers
• Accurate record-keeping and document control

Nice to have

• Experience with UK supplier bases
• CIPS certification or study towards it
• Experience with tender or RFQ processes
