The physician’s duties will include management of Oncology and Infusion patients including examination, treatment, consultation, follow-up, referral, and ordering labs/imaging. The physician will also participate in patient satisfaction programs, quality improvement initiatives and any organizational or departmental goals and objectives to assure safe, quality care.
Depending upon the experience of the physician and circumstances, PSMC will consider a telemedicine physician for PRN services.
SCHEDULE
PRN physicians will, as and when available, work shifts as requested by PSMC. Note: staff at PSMC’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders Center are scheduled for 10-hour shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
COMPENSATION
Compensation: Three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) per 10-hour shift.
RETIREMENT
401a (mandatory plan): employee and employer each contribute 6% of earnings subject to IRS maximum contribution limits and five-year vesting.
457: optional retirement plan.
OTHER
PSMC provides professional liability insurance coverage for employed physicians.
