Role Purpose:

The Photo Re-toucher is responsible for enhancing, correcting, and optimizing digital images to meet brand, client, and quality standards. This role ensures that all photographs are visually compelling, accurate, and professionally refined through color correction, image manipulation, blemish removal, background adjustments, and other post-production techniques. The Photo Re-toucher collaborates with designers, and creative teams to deliver high-quality images that support marketing, advertising, e-commerce, and editorial objectives while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Essential Duties:

Retouch, enhance, and optimize product imagery for e-commerce, print, and digital catalogs, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.

Execute advanced image editing techniques, including color correction, compositing, manipulation, and detailed retouching, while managing workloads efficiently to meet deadlines. 

Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews of final assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for publication across all channels. 

Partner with Creative, Merchandising, Marketing, and IT teams to interpret brand guidelines and deliver high-quality visual content that supports business objectives. 

Continuously evaluate workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and image quality while maintaining established standards.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and related image editing software. 

Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, image enhancement, and digital asset management principles. 

Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work. 

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet tight deadlines. 

Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and business priorities. 

Experience working in high-volume ecommerce, retail, or catalog production environments preferred. 

Strong organizational and time-management skills. 

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a professional office or remote setting with regular use of computers, telephones, and other standard office technology. 

Frequent and fast-paced interaction with employees, customers, and business partners through phone, email, virtual meetings, and other communication channels. 

Physical Abilities:

Sitting or Standing: Ability to work for extended periods while seated or standing at a workstation, as required by business needs. 

Computer Use: Ability to use a computer extensively for data entry, information retrieval, documentation, and other job-related activities.

Manual Dexterity: Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity sufficient to accurately operate a keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office equipment. 

Vision: Ability to read and interpret information displayed on computer screens and printed materials. 

Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and leadership, including frequent verbal communication throughout the workday. 

Hearing:   Ability to hear and understand conversations and verbal instructions in person, via telephone, and through other communication technologies.
