AI Summary

The Paid Media Specialist will build, launch, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns for eCommerce, managing budgets and ensuring efficient performance. They will analyze performance regularly and collaborate with creative and analytics teams to enhance conversion rates.

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Paid Media Specialist who can own Meta Ads for eCommerce accounts end-to-end. This is a performance role (not a CMO/manager role): you’ll be in-platform daily, launching and optimizing campaigns, and you’ll be expected to clearly explain what you did, why you did it, and what results you drove.

What success looks like in the first 60–90 days

  • Take over (or build) a Meta account structure that can scale profitably: prospecting + retargeting, clear campaign/ad set logic, clean naming, and reporting.

  • Improve efficiency and scale: better MER/ROAS, lower CPA, improved CTR/CVR through testing.

  • Establish a repeatable creative testing system in partnership with creative (briefs, angles, iterations, learnings).

  • Own measurement hygiene: pixel/CAPI checks, events, attribution approach, and clear performance readouts.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, launch, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns for eCommerce (prospecting, retargeting, catalog/DPA when relevant).

  • Manage budgets and pacing; make clear tradeoffs between volume vs efficiency.

  • Create and maintain testing roadmaps (creative, audiences, offers, landing pages) and summarize learnings.

  • Analyze performance daily/weekly and communicate actions taken (what changed, why, impact).

  • Partner with creative/CRO/analytics to improve conversion rate and post-click performance.

  • Ensure tracking and reporting are reliable (Pixel + CAPI, GA4 basics, UTMs, attribution discussion).

Must-Have Experience

  • 3+ years running Meta Ads hands-on (not just overseeing).

  • Proven eCommerce performance experience (not lead gen only) with clear examples.

  • Experience managing monthly spend on Meta for a single account (tell us the largest monthly Meta budget you personally managed in one account).

  • Strong fundamentals: audience strategy, creative testing, account structure, scaling methods, and performance diagnosis.

  • Clear English communication: concise answers, structured thinking, and ability to explain decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Google Ads experience (Search/Shopping/YouTube) is a plus, but Meta is the priority.

  • Experience working with U.S.-based eCommerce brands/agencies.

  • Experience with Shopify, GA4, Tag Manager, and basic attribution troubleshooting.

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive pay based on experience and location.

  • 100% remote with flexible hours.

  • Direct ownership of high-value accounts (budgets scaling to $500K+/mo).

  • Strategic influence over campaign direction and creative planning.

  • Opportunity to help brands scale beyond $10M+ in annual revenue.

If you’re strongest on Google Ads and only occasionally run Meta, this likely won’t be the right fit. We need someone who can lead Meta performance from day one.

I was the first applicant for a remote marketing position that got listed on the company website the same day I applied. Had an interview within 48 hours!
