The specialist will be responsible for owning the organic social media presence by developing content strategies and publishing on-brand material across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Additionally, they will plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads while managing budgets and reporting performance.
The Role
We're hiring a Marketing Specialist to own our social media presence and paid advertising across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Ads. This role is hands-on across both organic content and performance campaigns — you'll shape how our brand shows up online and drive measurable results through smart strategy and sharp execution.
This is a great role for someone who's equally comfortable crafting a content calendar and dialing in ROAS on a paid campaign — and who thrives working independently in a remote environment.
What You'll Do
Own our organic social presence
- Develop and execute content strategies across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Plan, schedule, and publish content that's on-brand and built for each platform
- Monitor comments, engage with our community, and grow our following
Run paid advertising campaigns
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads
- Manage budgets, set targets, and report on performance against KPIs like ROAS and CPA
- Run A/B tests on creative, copy, and audiences to continuously improve results
Report and iterate
- Track performance across channels using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and platform-native tools
- Surface insights and translate them into clear next steps
- Stay on top of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
Collaborate on creative
- Work with designers or own the creative process directly to produce scroll-stopping content
- Adapt messaging and formats across platforms — especially short-form video (Reels, TikToks)
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
- A clear, consistent content calendar live across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Paid campaigns running on Meta, TikTok, and Google with defined targets and reporting in place
- Early performance data reviewed and first round of optimizations made
- A repeatable process for content creation, publishing, and campaign management
Requirements
- 3–5 years in digital marketing, social media, or a related role
- Proven experience running paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads
- Strong grasp of organic social strategy and short-form video best practices
- Comfortable with analytics tools and able to translate data into decisions
- Strong written communication skills and a good eye for on-brand content
- Self-directed and reliable — you don't need a lot of hand-holding to get things done
Nice to Have
- Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM tools
- Background in transportation
